This role involves providing OB hospitalist coverage at a facility with a focus on delivering high-quality maternal and gynecological care.
Responsibilities include managing 24-hour physician shifts from 7a-7p and 21-hour CNM shifts from 9a-6a, performing emergent GYN care, circumcisions, and serving as a first assist in surgeries.
Hospitalists will support delivery and outpatient services, with an estimated 8 deliveries and 265 patient encounters monthly, excluding deliveries.
Qualifications include experience in OB/GYN procedures, strong clinical skills, and the ability to collaborate with onsite MFM and anesthesia teams.
Key duties encompass ensuring consistent care, expanding access, reducing wait times for OB and Well-Woman visits, and increasing GYN surgical opportunities.
Ideal candidates are adaptable, team-oriented, and proficient in Epic EMR.
