Overview In-Home Caregiver – Bilingual English/Spanish Encouraged (East Lincoln / 68503) About Us: At TheKey, we elevate long-term aging at home by treating clients like family and empowering our caregiving team with paid training and 24/7 support.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily routines, personal care, and hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, medication management, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and transportation to medical appointments.
- Maintain clear communication and document client progress.
Qualifications What We’re Looking For:
- Bilingual skills (English / Spanish) are a huge plus!
- Hands-On Caregiving Experience: Previous personal (e.g., caring for a loved one or family member) or professional caregiving experience, specifically assisting with CNA training, bathing, toileting/incontinence, and physical transfers, is strongly preferred.
- Memory Care: Experience supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's or Dementia is a major plus.
- Core Traits: Adaptability, empathy, compassion, and genuine kindness are absolute MUSTs.
- Composure & Judgment: Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain a calm, reassuring presence in dynamic or high-stress situations.
- Reliability: Proven track record of dependability, punctuality, and strict adherence to schedules.
- Screening & Credentials: Proof of U.S. work authorization, ability to pass background checks. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance, and age 19+.
