Job Description
IMS Specialist 1 (Clinical Operations)
Location - Gurugram - Office based
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant Industry exposure or Freshers with Good Communication skills in English
- Manage investigator payments using IMPACT and Medidata platforms with a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Process grant payments through Accounts Payable and reconcile funding with global project teams.
- Collaborate with clinical operations, project management, A/P, A/R, and contracts teams to maintain a holistic view of project finances.
- Review and interpret Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) to ensure payments follow contractual terms.
- Perform Excel-based grant tracking, cost entries, and invoice reviews.
- Support forecasting, financial analysis, sponsor invoicing, and invoice discrepancy followups.
- Ensure accurate coding of thirdparty invoices and prepare financial reports for audits, compliance, and stakeholders.
- Assist with internal/external audits and help train junior team members on standard procedures.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial data handling
Job Specification / Required - Primary Skills
- Experience with invoice processing and data reconciliation
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
