About the role
Do you have an agrobioenterprise or an idea with transformative potential?
ImpulsaAgroBio – Empowering Ventures with a Future
The IICA Center for Agrobioentrepreneurship and Investments launches the ImpulsaAgroBio contest: Empowering Entrepreneurship with a Future, an open call aimed at producers and entrepreneurs from the agricultural, agro-industrial, bioeconomy and tourism sectors of Costa Rica, as well as university students with innovative ideas in these areas.
Through a structured process of training, mentoring, and technical validation, the aim is to transform nascent proposals into products or services with commercial potential, capable of opening new business opportunities.
Initiatives in early stages of development, such as general ideas, validated ideas, initial prototypes, or minimum viable products (MVPs), are eligible for submission. Special attention will be given to proposals with high growth potential, even if they are in their initial phases.
The selected startups will participate in intensive bootcamps focused on idea generation, business modeling, value proposition development, customer validation, pilot testing, marketing strategy, cost structure, pricing, and finance for entrepreneurs. They will also receive group and individual mentoring, as well as training sessions in key soft skills: leadership, emotional intelligence, negotiation, and teamwork.
