Implementation Specialist

About This Role

This role focuses on deploying FactSet's products by delivering high-value projects and engagements. The Implementation Specialist acts as a subject matter expert, ensuring clients are properly set up to maximize the value of their FactSet subscriptions. This involves data integration and quality, module configuration, report building, client training, and user support during implementation. All work is project-based, including implementations, solutions optimization, and other time and knowledge-intensive projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce client-facing communication in coordination with the implementation project manager
• Build and manage implementation scope and effort estimates
• Provide product (functional and technical) guidance on solutioning processes based on customer needs
• Create user workflow specifications, custom report specifications, establish priority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirements
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of the Analytics suite
• Implement new and enhance existing deployments to create a better user experience and further enable sales opportunities
• Effectively communicate with sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industry
• Identify growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunities during the implementation process
• Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet’s products
• Provide user training and support the development of training programs
• Facilitate the transition from the implementation phase to support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience
• At least 2+ years of experience working with FactSet’s Analytics tools
• Strong technical background
• Proven technical proficiency particularly in writing complex screening codes
• Understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Performance Solutions products
• Willingness to travel
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Nice to have:

• CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications preferred
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
• Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
