Implementation Specialist

About This Role

The Implementation Specialist plans and coordinates the implementation of education and training programs for healthcare workers represented by SEIU UHW-West and other union members eligible for Education Fund services. This role suits someone who can work independently and as part of a team, managing priorities and scheduling work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own data processing, validation, and reporting for assigned programs
• Develop and maintain good relationships with educational vendors
• Create and maintain documents for programs, including SOPs, Program Overviews, Program Guides, Procedure Guides, and Salesforce document library
• Close out enrollments, including completing sanctions, reporting outcomes, and rollovers
• Manage database for grant reporting and special documentation
• Coordinate monthly provider meetings to request program enrollments and progress reports
• Partner with PDS for program-specific needs and tasks
• Submit regular written reports and ensure compliance with program requirements and goals
• Work with the program coordinator/Regional coordinator to assist with the implementation of programs and projects, including planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and projects
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the assistant director or director of the program

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience planning and implementing educational or training programs preferred
• Proficient use of basic Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, or other CRM systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience within a union and/or healthcare environment preferred
• Commitment to working within a labor-management partnership environment
• Familiarity with project management concepts
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, coordination, and organizational skills
• Flexibility regarding schedule and assignments
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Professional demeanor with the ability to create rapport with a diverse group of members and partners
• An automobile, California driver’s license, and auto insurance are required

• Work environment: Complex setting both inside and outside of the office, requiring frequent adjustments and interaction with a diversity of people and tasks
• Physical demands: Ability to drive and move from one site to another for extended periods, sit at a workstation for extended time periods, and occasionally lift and carry equipment or packages weighing up to 35 pounds
