The Latin American Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Celiem) announced the first call for applications for the Impact Fund, aimed at promoting innovative ventures in the categories of creative and cultural economy and associative production models with social impact.
This call for proposals is part of the SBD's Seeds of Transformation Program and aims to support selected ventures with non-reimbursable seed capital and mentoring. It focuses on fostering the development of innovative business models promoted by organizations in the country's creative and cultural economy, as well as organizations with associative production models that have a social impact, primarily in areas of relative underdevelopment.
The resources will be directed to finance, in the prototyping phase, new services or products, the incorporation of technology in the development of their projects, or the implementation of new management and marketing models to generate conditions that impact the creation and consolidation of jobs, as well as the opportunity to boost economic growth and the reduction of social gaps that affect the development of the regions.
