Immigration Paralegal

About This Role

This on-site paralegal role supports attorneys in preparing and filing immigration applications and petitions, including family-based petitions, visas, adjustment of status, and naturalization cases. The position suits a detail-oriented professional with experience in immigration law and bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in preparing and filing immigration applications and petitions
• Gather and organize client documents
• Prepare legal forms and supporting exhibits
• Draft cover letters and client correspondence
• Maintain accurate case files and timelines
• Conduct basic legal and factual research
• Track case status with government agencies
• Update clients on case progress under attorney supervision
• Coordinate appointments
• Manage deadlines
• Assist with translating or interpreting documents where applicable

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant
• Bilingual Fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) REQUIRED
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including immigration forms, supporting affidavits, and organized evidence packets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Proficiency with case and client management systems
• Knowledge of Immigration Issues and practical experience handling Visas and related immigration benefits
• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
• 2 years of immigration law experience (Required)
