Responsibilities include communicating across teams, following protocols, administering medications safely, and managing ECMO patients if applicable. The position requires delivering age-appropriate, culturally competent care, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and maintaining professional integrity.
Qualifications include an associate degree (BSN preferred), current RN license, BLS, ACLS within 12 months, and critical care training. Experience is preferred but not required. Additional certifications like TNCC, NVCI, and ECMO training are necessary for specialized care. The role supervises nursing staff, facilitates communication, and provides high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients, aligning with the organization’s mission to serve with compassion and professionalism.
