About the role

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry, offering per diem shifts with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting.
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
  • Follow infection control, safety policies, and patient education protocols.

Qualifications

  • Active Virginia RN license.
  • At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months).
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
