We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in ICU or Telemetry for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing safe, high-quality care in an acute-care setting
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and using specialized equipment
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Educating patients and families about treatments and discharge
- Upholding infection-control and safety standards
- Demonstrating professionalism and adaptability
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
