About the role
We are looking for an ICT Security Engineer to be located in SG to join our Production Security team. Please find attached the JD and some details below:
Role Specific Technical Skills
Production experience across the following technologies:
- Production‑grade experience with the Elastic stack – ingestion, indexing, monitoring and analytics (mandatory).
- Strong hands‑on experience with Kafka .
- Proficient Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu).
- Scripting/programming – Python **or** Bash (minimum 2 years).
- Automation/orchestration – Ansible (or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven production‑support background; comfortable with both virtual and physical environments.
Personal Attributes
- Rigorous and detail‑oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑driven; able to work autonomously and take ownership.
- Excellent communicator and collaborative team player.
- High energy, proactive attitude and willingness to up‑skill.
- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Additional note :
- Banking‑sector experience is optional but regarded as a plus.
- Total professional experience ≥ 7 years, with at least 4‑5 years focused on large‑scale Elastic‑Stack design, deployment and support
- Desired experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Autonomous/Good command on these skills - Linux(OS), Programming/Coding(DevOps)
- minimum 4-5 years; Elastic stack knowledge mandatory
- We are NOT looking for SOC analysts or monitoring staff as primary skills require candidate to manage platform and code to maintain/automate.
