Pay Range: $28.00-$38.00 (DOE)
About The Opportunity A leading commercial mechanical contractor is seeking experienced and career-driven HVAC Mechanics to join its Special Projects team in the Hampton Roads area. Key Responsibilities

Install, replace, and retrofit commercial HVAC systems and components

Work on projects including:

Rooftop units (RTUs)
-
Heat pumps and DX systems
-
Chillers and cooling towers
-
Commercial boilers
-
Pneumatic and electrical control systems
-
Install and modify sheet metal, ductwork, and related HVAC components

Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications

Ensure all installations meet quality standards and code requirements

Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent field experience
- EPA Universal Certification (preferred, not required)
- Experience with commercial HVAC installation and retrofit work
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical components
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
