ABOUT JO B:
We are seeking a skilled and motivate d HVAC Design Engine er to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, calculation, coordination, and documentation of HVAC systems for industrial, commercial, data center, infrastructure, and building projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, coordination skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in accordance with international standards and project requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
HVAC System Design
- Design HVAC systems including air conditioning, ventilation, smoke extraction, and pressurization systems.
- Perform cooling and heating load calculations using industry-standard software.
- Select and size HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and associated components.
- Prepare HVAC design reports, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Develop schematic diagrams, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings.
Coordination & Engineering Support
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, structural, and BIM teams.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and client meetings.
- Support project teams during design development, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure designs comply with local regulations, project specifications, and international standards.
- Conduct engineering checks and review design deliverables for accuracy and quality.
- Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Mi nimum 3 years of expe rience HVAC design for buildings, industrial facilities, data centers, healthcare, airports, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working in engineering consultancy, EPC, or design environments is preferred.
- Good En glish communication (for international projects)
- Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and engineering calculations.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and relevant international standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Revit MEP and BIM environments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of HVAC design software such as HAP, Carrier, TRACE 700, IES VE, or equivalent tools.
