Human Resources Coordinator

About This Role

This role supports a variety of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, payroll/timekeeping, benefits administration, learning and development, and compliance. It is an opportunity for an HR professional who is highly organized, enjoys working with both employees and leaders, and wants broad exposure across Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting and staffing activities for exempt and non-exempt positions
• Coordinate candidate interviews and assist with job requisition and applicant tracking
• Support new-hire onboarding and ensure employment documentation is accurate and complete
• Assist employees and managers with general HR, benefits, employment, and payroll questions
• Coordinate employee hours for payroll processing and track time-off requests
• Assist with workers’ compensation administration
• Coordinate and support employee engagement activities
• Track turnover and prepare HR reports for leadership
• Monitor learning and development, performance management, and compliance activities
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team and site leadership
• Assist with HR projects and additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, benefits, payroll administration, or a related area
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze problems and identify appropriate solutions

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with SuccessFactors HRIS
