Title: Huawei Network Engineer
Location: Chennai
Exp: 5+ Years Key Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Huawei routers, switches, WLAN controllers, and enterprise network solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connectivity issues.
- Implement and manage routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, and VRRP.
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and optimize network availability and reliability.
- Perform firmware upgrades, patches, backups, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Configure network security policies, ACLs, NAT, and firewall rules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network projects, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and perform root cause analysis for network incidents.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise networking standards and best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration.
- Strong expertise in Huawei routing, switching, and wireless networking.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRRP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with Huawei network management and monitoring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Huawei Certified Network Professional (HCIP) or Huawei Certified ICT Professional certification.
- Experience with Huawei firewall and security solutions is an added advantage.
- CCNP or equivalent networking certification is a plus.
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
