HRIS Specialist

About This Role

This specialist role takes long-term responsibility for an HR platform, making everyday work easier for managers, employees, and HR colleagues. The position suits an HRIS Specialist who combines hands-on system expertise with an understanding of HR processes and a keen interest in continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure the HR platform, including permissions, forms, and system settings
• Develop workflows and automations that simplify HR processes
• Ensure the quality and consistency of employee data
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on integrations, testing, and new functionality
• Support managers, employees, and HR colleagues with system-related questions
• Identify opportunities for improvement and turn them into practical solutions
• Work across different stages of the employee lifecycle, balancing day-to-day administration and user support with ongoing development
• Translate business needs into effective system solutions together with process owners
• Prioritize immediate needs alongside longer-term improvements
• Make decisions within your area of responsibility
• Collaborate with colleagues who bring different perspectives

Requirements

• At least three years of experience working with HR systems, including hands-on experience in administration, configuration, workflows, and automation
• Understanding of how HR processes connect
• Experience working with system integrations in collaboration with other functions or external vendors
• Practical experience and motivation to take long-term ownership of both daily operations and ongoing system development
• Structured approach to data quality
• Ability to explain system-related matters clearly to colleagues with different levels of technical knowledge
• Confident communication in English, both verbally and in writing
