About the role
Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the facility-level human resources leader, supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll preparation, employee relations, and compliance. This role partners with facility leadership and corporate HR to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary payroll contact, resolving pay-related issues and coordinating adjustments with Corporate Finance.
- Manage time and attendance system, ensuring accurate timecard review and approval.
- Administer HRIS for personnel, compensation, and employee changes.
- Process and track garnishments, child support, and court orders.
- Lead facility recruitment efforts and manage applicant tracking system.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and retention programs.
- Administer employee benefits, FMLA, personal leave, and workers' compensation.
- Prepare OSHA and EEOC reporting, and assist with credentialing as needed.
- Provide support with employee performance management and disputes.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong HR knowledge including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred. 2- -3 years of HR experience, including payroll processing.
- Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and healthcare regulations.
Preferred:
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care environment.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods, move freely within facility, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Tolerance for odors and conditions typical of a nursing facility.
