About the role
What you’ll do:
The Senior HR Generalist serves as the HR partner for the International Sales Team while leading selected HR programs across business. This role combines hands-on HR business partnering with program management responsibilities, supporting talent initiatives, employee engagement, organizational capability, and HR process excellence to help achieve business goals and enhance employee experience.
HR Business Partner Support (International Sales Team)
- Act as the primary HR contact for the PDSS International Sales Team, supporting people initiatives that enable business objectives and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with managers to support talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and retention activities.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, employee relations matters, and compliance requirements to ensure a positive employee experience and effective risk management.
- Support workforce planning and organizational capability initiatives by partnering with managers to identify talent needs and development opportunities.
- Analyze HR metrics and people data to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend actions to improve employee engagement and business performance.
- Support employee communication, engagement, and culture-building initiatives across the international sales organization.
- Collaborate with HR Shared Services, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and regional HR teams to ensure effective delivery of HR programs and processes.
HR Program Management

Lead and coordinate key people programs, ensuring consistent execution and alignment with business priorities.

Support talent management processes, including performance reviews, talent discussions, capability assessments, and development planning activities.

Manage learning, development, engagement, and recognition initiatives to enhance employee capability and strengthen organizational effectiveness.

Drive program governance, communications, stakeholder coordination, and project tracking to ensure successful implementation of HR initiatives.

Monitor program effectiveness through metrics, employee feedback, and continuous improvement actions.

Promote standardization, process excellence, and continuous improvement in line with Eaton Business System (EBS) principles.

Compliance & Employee Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Must be legally authorized to work in the China (Shanghai) without company sponsorship
- Minimum 2 years of progressive HR experience
- At least 2 year in HR role dealing with multi-entities
- Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented and fluency in English
- Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint,AI tool, PowerBI will be a plus
- Demonstrated functional knowledge of governmental regulations and laws that impact the employment relationship
- Accountable and action-oriented; ability to drive change and business results
- Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders independently
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with all organizational levels
- Strong facilitation/consultancy/coaching skills
- Demonstrated cross-border HR support across APAC countries
- Comfortable with Matrix organization and reporting
