About The Role The HR System Analyst position at Rodericks Dental Partners is a pivotal role within our dynamic team, primarily focused on supporting the implementation of Workday, our new HR and Payroll platform. This fixed-term contract offers a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented and technologically savvy professional to contribute to a significant digital transformation initiative. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and our external Workday implementation partner to ensure a seamless transition and optimal system performance. The role involves comprehensive testing, data validation, process analysis, and user support, all aimed at enhancing HR and payroll operations across the organization. If you have a passion for HR systems, data analysis, and process improvement, this role provides an excellent platform to develop your expertise while making a tangible impact on the organization.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess prior experience working with HRIS, HR, Payroll, or similar business systems. A strong foundation in system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and data validation is essential. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, especially with large or complex datasets, is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and data quality. Analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for investigating issues and identifying root causes. The role requires excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills are necessary to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience handling sensitive employee data with discretion and confidentiality is also important. While prior Workday expertise is not required, a demonstrated capability in systems analysis, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued.

Responsibilities The HR System Analyst will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end testing of the Workday system, including system and user acceptance testing across HR and Payroll processes. This involves executing comprehensive testing to verify that configurations, processes, and integrations function correctly, and documenting any defects or issues for resolution. The role requires close collaboration with internal workstream leads and external advisors to investigate and resolve system issues, retesting fixes, and supporting final sign-off procedures. The analyst will assist with data migration activities, including validation, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring employee and organizational data is accurate, complete, and fit for purpose. Additionally, the role involves supporting regression testing following system updates, maintaining detailed documentation of testing activities and system configurations, and assisting with reporting and data analysis tasks. The analyst will also help educate end users and workstream leads on the UAT process, support cutover planning, and contribute to go-live readiness activities. Opportunities to identify and recommend process improvements through automation and technological solutions are integral to this role, helping to streamline HR operations and enhance system efficiency.
