HR Manager

About This Role

Leading the HR function for the Belgian operations of an international logistics group, this role involves developing and professionalizing HR processes, structures, and teams. It suits an HR leader who thrives on change, takes responsibility, and aims to achieve tangible results in a growing, future-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead an experienced HR team, coaching and supporting their development and setting clear priorities
• Act as a strategic partner for the Managing Director and General Managers, translating HR challenges into concrete solutions
• Oversee organizational structure, staffing, and HR processes across various Belgian entities
• Analyze HR data and KPIs, translating insights into actions and informed management decisions
• Take ownership of HR projects, ensuring effective rollout and follow-up of initiatives
• Guide change processes and support the organization through further growth and professionalization
• Ensure correct application of HR processes, social legislation, and internal guidelines
• Build bridges between different departments, locations, and management teams

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree, supplemented with relevant HR experience (e.g., HR, personnel policy, psychology, business administration)
• At least 5 years of HR experience, ready to take on broad HR responsibility
• Experience in managing, coaching, and developing employees or teams
• HR expertise with both blue-collar and white-collar workers, comfortable in an operational environment
• Analytical skills to interpret HR data and KPIs and translate them into concrete actions
• Strategic insight, combining a hands-on approach with a long-term vision
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English
