HR Generalist

About This Role

The HR Generalist supports a wide range of human resources functions, focusing on Employee Relations (ER), Industrial Relations (IR), Employee Engagement, and Learning & Development (L&D). The role partners with employees and managers to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, support employee development initiatives, and drive engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary issues and investigations
• Plan and coordinate employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and team-building activities
• Support employee communications and initiatives to enhance workplace culture and retention
• Coordinate training programs, maintain training records, and support learning and development initiatives
• Prepare HR documentation, reports, and employee-related correspondence
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, procedures, and employment-related matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality
