HR Generalist

About This Role

This HR Generalist role is for an energetic, creative, and empathetic individual who will be the heartbeat of the company culture. You will design employee experiences, bridge the gap between operations and fun, and ensure the team loves coming to work every day. The position suits someone passionate about building spaces where people thrive, collaborate, and perform at their absolute best.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and lead engagement initiatives, from team-building activities and recognition programs to keeping End of Day (EoD) traditions alive
• Create and roll out creative surveys and feedback channels to understand employee morale, proposing solutions to boost belonging and retention
• Act as a culture ambassador, creating internal communication campaigns that celebrate team wins and values
• Take ownership of the culture budget, ensuring value for money on all initiatives
• Source and manage relationships with external partners, including event venues, team-building coaches, wellness providers, and company swag vendors
• Provide clear spend reports to leadership, showing the ROI of culture investments
• Serve as the go-to, supportive point of contact for employee questions, helping resolve conflicts and fostering an environment of respect and openness
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and help keep employee handbooks modern, relevant, and easy to understand
• Support career development by helping coordinate trainings, workshops, and mentorship programs
• Help manage performance review cycles, championing a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and clear paths to recognition
• Oversee office and HR admin functions, ensuring the workplace is stocked, equipment is maintained, and IT coordination is smooth
• Handle sensitive employee and HR information with the utmost discretion and integrity
• Assist leadership and the Head of HR with ad-hoc special projects as they arise

Requirements

• High emotional intelligence and a love for connecting with people from all walks of life
• Ability to balance tracking a budget and managing inventory with planning a company event
• Respect for confidentiality and understanding of the vital importance of HR guidelines and compliance
• Proactive problem solver who takes charge to improve the employee experience
