HR Executive / HR Manager

About This Role

This HR Executive / HR Manager role is for a proactive and people-focused professional to build strong people processes and support a performance-driven culture at a growing learning and technology platform. The role involves managing recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and day-to-day people operations, working closely with department heads and management in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Product, Tech, and Operations roles
• Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates throughout the hiring process
• Manage offer letters, joining formalities, onboarding, documentation, and employee records
• Maintain attendance, leave, employee databases, and HR trackers
• Coordinate probation reviews, confirmations, appraisals, and performance discussions
• Work with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, SOPs, and company guidelines
• Drive employee engagement, communication, feedback, and retention initiatives
• Assist management in resolving employee concerns and maintaining a professional workplace culture
• Coordinate exit formalities, handovers, full-and-final documentation, and exit interviews
• Prepare regular HR reports covering hiring, attrition, attendance, headcount, and other key HR metrics
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee and company information

Requirements

• 2 -5+ years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations
• Strong recruitment and interviewing skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience managing HR documentation and employee lifecycle processes
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and reporting skills
• Ability to handle multiple requirements and priorities independently
• Comfortable working in a startup / high-growth environment

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of basic Indian HR and employment practices
