HR Director

About This Role

Directing HR for Related Digital involves advising the CEO and leadership team on people decisions to scale the business, supporting employees across corporate offices, project sites, and remote locations. The role combines hands-on program ownership with senior-level partnership, strengthening onboarding and relocation practices, working with Talent Acquisition on hiring and workforce plans, and advising leaders on organization design, talent, and retention. As the business grows, the director will take on broader work in leadership development and long-term people strategy, partnering with Corporate HR teams in Total Rewards, Operations, Business Intelligence, and Employee Relations.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Related Digital CEO and leadership team on organization design, team structure, and role clarity
• Build workforce plans with leaders and Talent Acquisition that reflect the development pipeline, including headcount forecasts and hiring priorities for platform and site teams
• Help leaders strengthen retention and support teams working across offices, project sites, and remote locations
• Own onboarding from pre-boarding through the first days on the job, partnering with Corporate HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Facilities to support hires in every location
• Build on existing onboarding practices and improve the tools and processes needed to support growth while maintaining a high-touch experience
• Manage relocation vendor relationships and improve the program based on service quality, cost, and employee feedback
• Coordinate support for employees and families from planning through settling in
• Identify practical ways to support employees in rural and remote project locations through project completion
• Lead Related Digital performance management and talent review processes, including annual reviews and talent calibration, with Corporate HR
• Partner with Corporate Compensation on the annual compensation process, market analysis, and offer guidance
• Work with leaders and Related HR
• Talent Development team on succession, development planning, and programs as the workforce grows
• Play a strategic role in Related Digital town halls, leadership communications, offsites, and internal events with communications and events partners
• Shape content and messaging, and develop ways to keep employees across offices, sites, and remote locations connected to the business and to one another

Requirements

• At least 12 years of relevant HR experience, including organizational design and workforce planning
• Experience supporting a distributed workforce that includes corporate, field or project-site, and remote employees
• The judgment and communication skills to advise senior executives, work effectively across levels, and handle confidential matters with discretion
