HR Director

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field; or 10+ years of experience as an HR Manager; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Master's degree preferred
• Prior experience working in the construction industry and a strong understanding of the local market and landscape of general contractors
• Experience working with outside recruiting partners and an understanding of how to manage these relationships
• One or more of the following certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
• Demonstrated knowledge across multiple HR disciplines, including but not limited to: Benefits administration, Training and development, Recruiting, Employee relations, Compensation and compliance
• Knowledge of financial management, human resource planning, and strategic thinking
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Demonstrates strong ethical conduct

Important Details

• Physical demands: Frequently required to sit, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. Requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
• Work environment: Professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
