HR Consultant

About This Role

This HR Consultant role involves building client relationships with NS and connecting technical talent to challenging projects. You will act as the link between candidates and the client, actively recruiting technical mechanics, guiding them through their work, and ensuring NS has the right people. You will receive support from a strong organization that truly understands technology.

Responsibilities

• Recruit technical talent, actively searching for electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic mechanics who fit the technical work within NS
• Conduct intake interviews to discover candidates' ambitions, experience, and skills, and determine the best-suited position for them
• Maintain client contact, serving as the fixed point of contact for NS, discussing personnel needs, and ensuring the right candidates are placed in the right roles
• Guide mechanics, staying involved with employees, maintaining contact during their work, and supporting them with questions, challenges, and further development
• Visit the workplace at NS locations to check on mechanics, strengthen collaboration, and identify opportunities
• Build sustainable relationships, investing in good cooperation with both NS and mechanics to ensure everyone works with pleasure and confidence
• Achieve shared successes, collaborating with colleagues on NS's personnel needs and contributing to the growth of both employees and the client relationship

Requirements

• Completed HBO education or MBO 4 diploma
• Good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing
• Driving license B
• Commercial mindset and enjoyment in establishing and maintaining contacts
• Initiative, enthusiasm, and motivation to develop yourself
• Affinity with technology and interest in finding and guiding technical talent

Nice to have:

• Experience in recruitment or secondment
