Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel or industrial cleaning and possess strong skills in housekeeping management and hospitality. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. In addition, we are seeking a supervisor for two days a week to assist our main supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Conduct floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping management practices and hospitality standards.
- Ability to perform custodial duties efficiently with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
