Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant

Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a difference every day? Join our family-oriented team at NHC HealthCare West Plains as a Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant! We’re seeking a dependable, compassionate person who loves helping others and being part of a great team.
What You’ll Do:
- Keep patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, furniture, and equipment sparkling clean
- Empty garbage cans and maintain a tidy, welcoming environment
- Gather, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry with care
- Operate washers and dryers safely and efficiently
- Assist with other housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to help others
- Compassion, empathy, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to read and understand Standard English
- Team player who is flexible and upbeat
- Able to be on your feet 7–8 hours a day and lift heavy objects
- Comfortable working with standard cleaning chemicals
