About the role
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Housekeeper at Hudson Hospital, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This important role supports infection prevention by cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas according to hospital standards.
FTE: 0.5.; 20 hours per week
Work Schedule: 8am-430pm Saturday and Sunday; Required to work 1 four-hour shift during the week
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
- Able to follow safety, infection prevention and cleaning procedures in accordance to hospital standards
- Ability to learn and operate housekeeping equipment, including floor care equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with coworkers, leaders, and others across the organization
- Basic level computer proficiency and ability to use email for department communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping, healthcare, or hospitality work experience
