Hotel Front Desk Agent

About This Role

This hotel front desk agent position on the guest services team welcomes guests, manages their account information, and ensures they have everything needed for an exceptional stay. The role suits a service-oriented individual who thrives in a high-energy environment with growth opportunities and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests
• Mitigate customer complaints as needed
• Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
• Keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
• Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
• 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
