As a part-time Host, you'll be the first face our guests see and the lasting impression they carry with them — setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience from the moment they walk through the door, one shift at a time.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
- Greet guests warmly and professionally and ensure their satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Effectively assign servers to sections, manage reservations, and seat guests in a timely and organized manner.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming restaurant entryway and complete all necessary side work and cleaning tasks for your shift.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment where everyone supports each other through the rush.
- Represent our establishment with a neat, professional appearance as a true ambassador of the dining experience.
- Stay knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes, accurately answering guest questions with confidence.
- Process all payment methods accurately as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- An outgoing, sociable personality and a natural ability to make guests feel instantly welcome.
- Excellent communication and listening skills — you stay composed and friendly even when the waiting list is long.
- A passion for service with a positive, can-do attitude during high-volume shifts.
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts — the heart of our dining operation and where a great host makes the biggest impact.
- The ability to stay on your feet throughout your shift and lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
