Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and team members
• Deliver exceptional customer service by interacting with the public in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner
• Conduct routine patrols of the property and respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
• Apply sound judgment, critical thinking, and effective de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts and manage challenging situations
• Enforce property policies and procedures consistently, fairly, and professionally
• Accurately complete all required reports, logs, and assigned responsibilities in a timely manner
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with hotel staff, management, and emergency responders as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in security, hospitality, customer service, or a related field
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Previous experience working in guest-facing or hospitality-focused environments
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional while responding to dynamic or high-pressure situations
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to climb stairs and perform regular interior and exterior property patrols
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and perform the essential functions of the position
