About the role
Opportunity for a Board-Certified OB/GYN as an OB Hospitalist Responsibilities Join a well-established OB Hospitalist team at a Level III Perinatal Center with NICU, providing high-acuity obstetric care in a shift-based, inpatient role with no outpatient duties. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing approximately 1,800 deliveries annually and overseeing OBED visits
- Providing care in a dedicated 24/7 OB Emergency Department
- Collaborating with in-house OB anesthesia, CRNA, Neonatology, and MFM support
- Supporting VBACs and performing primary C-sections within a non-LDRP model
- Teaching Family Medicine residents in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications And Skills
- Board-Certified OB/GYN
- Experience in high-acuity obstetrics preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
