The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking physicians who are board certified or board eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board.
The East Bay area, home of the flagship Oakland Medical Center and Richmond Medical Center, comprises 12 cities and municipalities within the Alameda County and the western section of Contra Costa County. From Kaiser Permanente’s inception in 1945, the nonprofit organization has led with innovation, beginning with its prepaid health care services offered to Richmond shipyard workers during World War II. Today, the Richmond and Oakland Medical Centers are home to about 700 physicians and 5,600 employees who serve over a quarter of a million members yearly.
Located in the East San Francisco Bay Area, our Oakland & Richmond service areas cover Alameda, Berkeley, Oakland, Pinole, and Richmond. The area offers a unique mix of vibrant urban lifestyle with easy access to nature. Outdoor enthusiasts regularly take advantage of over 100 miles of East Bay trails for hiking, biking, and ultra-running, with nearby Tahoe skiing an easy commute away. Foodies will love the Michelin star restaurants, explosion of craft breweries, lively music and club scene, and nearby Napa wineries.
