About the role
Trustbridge Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Hospice Representative (Physician focused) to join our team in Broward County area. This full-time, “boots-on-the-ground” position and works Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with weekend and after-hours availability as needed. In this crucial community-facing role, the Hospice Representative strengthens Trustbridge’s presence by building meaningful relationships, educating healthcare partners, and driving access to compassionate hospice services.
Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice has cared for more than 200,000 South Florida families. As a community-based nonprofit, we provide 24/7 hospice and palliative care, along with caregiver support and bereavement services for families facing serious illness.
What You’ll Do
- Educate and promote the hospice concept and the benefits of Trustbridge programs to physicians, discharge planners, case managers, and other internal and external healthcare professionals.
- Oversee accounts and open new ones, maintain strong relationships with hospital and facility staff, and increase referrals through consistent engagement.
- Host occasional marketing events, facilitate meetings with clients, and build new relationships throughout the community.
- Serve as a visible, boots-on-the-ground representative of Trustbridge in the Broward County service area.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the CRM; must be comfortable with technology and data entry.

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
- Three years of medical marketing or sales experience, preferably within hospice or home care.
- Knowledge of Medicare, CMS, and state regulations.
- Reliable transportation with adequate insurance and a valid Florida driver’s license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills; flexible, self-motivated, and able to relate effectively to all levels of the professional medical team.
- Ability to work well independently while also functioning as a collaborative, supportive team player.
