About This Role

Teaching History across the secondary age range is the core of this role at a well-established independent school. The ideal candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons that bring historical events and concepts to life, encouraging students to develop critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.

• Assess, monitor, and support student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching History at secondary level
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject
• Be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills
• Be committed to helping students achieve their full potential
