About the role
Platform Administration and Operations:
•Administer and maintain Power Platform environments (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages), ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
•Monitor platform health, capacity, storage consumption, and API usage/throttling; proactively identify and resolve performance and capacity issues.
•Manage environment provisioning, environment strategy, and lifecycle (Dev/Test/UAT/Production), including backup and restore procedures.
•Configure and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, environment security roles, and access controls.
•Monitor and manage licensing, capacity add-ons, and connector usage across the tenant.
•Perform routine maintenance activities such as patching, updates, and platform upgrades with minimal disruption to business operations.
•Perform other related duties assigned by supervisor.
Incident and Problem Management:
•Monitor production systems and respond to incidents, outages, and performance degradations; troubleshoot and resolve or escalate issues as needed.
•Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
•Maintain and update operational runbooks, escalation procedures, and support documentation.
Governance and Compliance:
•Enforce Center of Excellence (CoE) governance policies, naming conventions, and solution lifecycle standards.
•Conduct periodic security and compliance reviews of environments, connections, and solutions to ensure alignment with ADB's security framework.
•Support audit, risk, and compliance reporting requirements related to Power Platform usage.
Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Management:
•Identify opportunities to improve platform operations, automation, and monitoring; recommend and implement enhancements.
•Maintain platform documentation, operational guides, and administration procedures.
•Provide guidance and mentoring to junior administrators and support staff.
•Ensure post-deployment support and monitoring services are provided, at least for 12 months.
