Junior Temenos Transact (T24) Upgrade Consultant
Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Junior Temenos Transact (T24) Upgrade Consultant to play a vital role in the transition from R1x to R25 TAFJ environments. In this capacity, you will work alongside senior specialists to drive essential upgrade initiatives, including the analysis of customizations, remediation of code, rigorous testing, and the resolution of technical discrepancies. Your contributions will ensure a smooth migration process, maintaining system integrity and performance while adhering to industry best practices for software evolution.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate the assessment and remediation phases required for the migration from R1x to R25 TAFJ.
- Evaluate existing local developments to determine their impact on various Transact components.
- Execute code remediation and conduct unit testing for custom routines, inquiries, versions, APIs, and services.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve upgrade-related defects, technical glitches, and findings from regression testing.
- Engage in technical testing cycles, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment operations.
- Document upgrade outcomes, detailing findings, remediation steps, and testing results.
- Partner with senior consultants to apply established Temenos upgrade methodologies.
- Validate environments and assist in post-upgrade verification procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
Requirements
- Possess 3-7 years of professional experience in Temenos Transact development, customization, support, or implementation.
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of Temenos architecture and the TAFJ framework.
- Have practical exposure to routines, enquiries, versions, OFS interfaces, and services.
- Understand the fundamentals of Temenos Upgrade Methodology, release migration concepts, and remediation workflows.
- Have knowledge of Java programming and TAFJ-based development practices.
- Show the ability to analyze upgrade impacts and perform necessary remediation tasks under supervision.
- Be familiar with R25 architecture, including RTJ framework, AA, TPH, and IRIS technologies.
- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities, troubleshooting skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Temenos upgrade projects, cloud computing concepts, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and Linux/Unix environments.
Preferred Certifications / Training
- Completion of Temenos technical training programs or holding relevant certifications is advantageous.
