About This Role

This program is a three-year training and development program for high school graduates, leading to a retail business management qualification. It offers intensive theoretical and practical phases, preparing participants for a leadership position within the company. The program is designed for individuals passionate about food retail and interested in business management.

Responsibilities

• Complete intensive theoretical and practical phases over three years
• Obtain two IHK qualifications: Retail Salesperson (months 1-18) and Certified Retail Business Manager (months 19-36)
• Further education in vocational and work pedagogy, including the trainer aptitude examination
• Take on responsible tasks in a sales outlet during practical phases
• Learn processes in a large retail company, from ordering and receiving goods to presentation, storage, sale, and sales-promoting measures
• Analyze and optimize retail processes
• Study goods procurement, controlling, and human resources management in vocational school

Important Details

• Schedule: The program takes place at one or more locations. The theoretical phases consist of 9 blocks of 2-3 weeks per year
