About the role
Conestoga Valley School District is seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Business Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a strong background in business education, and the ability to engage and inspire high school students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in business education subjects such as accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, and business ethics
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback to support their academic development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, share resources, and enhance the overall educational experience
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in business education to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, and professional development activities
- Exemplify the Profile of a CV Learner competencies: Innovative Problem Solver, Communicator, Collaborator, Lifelong Learner, and Global Citizen
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Education, or a related field
- A State teaching certification
- Strong knowledge of business education curriculum and instructional strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Commitment to professional development and staying current in the field
Any of the listed certifications are required.

- Business/Computer/Information Technology K-12
