Collection Details

Viennese Wildlife

Urban wildlife is getting more important and more omnipresent every day.

The reasons for wildlife to seek the cities for refuge are many - European hamsters fled the monoculture agriculture and even being hunted for their furs. Many animals are also cultural followers.

You can find roe deer and wild hamsters on cemeteries, red foxes on construction sites and in the streets, rabbits on rail tracks and much more in a city like Vienna.

Bokehlicious Butterflies

Filling the negative space around the main subject with an abstract version of its habitat is the main aspect in this kind of photography to increase nature's delicacy and fragility, but also its beauty. This bokeh version of habitat is achieved through camera techniques and the use of natural light. Nothing has been retouched in these photos (except sensor spots) - no parts have been removed or added or altered besides a standard post-processing.

In this collection, you can find some unpublished work and some placed photos in international photo competitions like IGPOTY, APOY and others.

  • After 6 photos of the 1st batch are collected, the second batch with another 8 photos will be dropped.
  • After 6 photos of the 2nd batch are collected, the third batch with the last 8 photos will be dropped.

Forest's Soul

A series showing trees in forests using different in-camera techniques in a search for something other than the obvious – a feeling, a vibe, a soul. The use of multiple exposures, external flash, and intentional camera movement and the accompanying abstraction using these techniques allows the viewer to see beyond the mass of trees and to extract what's concealed beneath.
