Helicopter Pilot

About This Role

Helicopter Pilots are sought to support a broad range of flights worldwide for Emissary Ventures. This position requires sound aeronautical judgment, the ability to perform under pressure, and the ability to work autonomously and in a crew environment. This position involves working in varying weather conditions, both day and night, and may include flying in challenging airspace environments, operating at low altitudes, and responding to rapidly evolving situations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, brief, execute, and debrief assigned flights in accordance with company procedures, SOPs, contract requirements, and all applicable FAA, ICAO, and host-nation regulations
• Conduct aircraft preflight, calculate aircraft performance, and coordinate with maintenance personnel
• Assist with the identification and mitigation of operational hazards to strengthen the safety culture of the company
• Effectively operate in remote or potentially austere environments with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and extended duty periods
• Protect sensitive information in accordance with U.S. Government and company security policies

Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Rotorcraft-Helicopter rating; Instrument Rating required
• Minimum 1,000 total flight hours
• Minimum 500 hours in helicopters
• Valid FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate
• Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance
• Current U.S. Passport
• 5 years of Helicopter experience (Preferred)

Nice to have:

• Active security clearance
• Bell 407 experience
• Prior military or government aviation experience
• Certified flight instructor

Important Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift work, on-call availability, and occasional extended duty hours may be required; Day Shift (Preferred), Night Shift (Preferred), Overnight Shift (Preferred)
• Willingness to travel: 100% (Preferred)
