About This Role
Operating a wide variety of heavy equipment vehicles for landfill construction, cell preparation, site maintenance, and mining is the core of this role. This position is for an individual who can perform essential duties satisfactorily and comply with safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company operating safety policies and procedures
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintain accurate records
- Move and position raw materials and finished components with material moving equipment
- Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as a guideline for operating and maintaining vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- No education required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Proficient in operating the minimum required equipment at an intermediate level based on site operations, which may include: Tipper ADTs, Compactors (excluding on-grade outside slope construction), Wheel Loader, Various Small Equipment (such as skid steers, tractors, water truck)
- Valid Driver's License
- Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required by certain customer contract requirements. Such testing may include urinalysis, drug hair follicle testing and/or alcohol testing.
- TWIC Card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting

Important Details
- Physical demands: Climbing, Balancing, Sitting, Hearing, Repetitive Motions, Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination
- Work environment: Operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
- Safety sensitive role: Requires strict compliance with all safety rules and protocols
- Ongoing employment requirements: May be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre-employment screening, post-incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies
