Healthcare Technician

About This Role

This field-based role involves providing in-home support to patients with respiratory diseases, installing medical devices, and offering training and coaching on equipment usage. It is suitable for someone who can drive a long-wheelbase van and is willing to work an on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients at home a suite of services, including medical device installation and training/coaching according to their needs
• Support patients with chronic diseases within the framework of medical prescriptions and local regulations
• Install medical devices in patients' homes and in hospitals according to local regulations, medical prescriptions, and prescriber expectations
• Train patients in the use of their equipment according to local regulations
• Provide feedback to the prescriber on the patient's autonomy, follow-up, and compliance with their treatment
• Ensure the satisfaction of patients and prescribers as part of the follow-up of their treatment
• Trace incidents relating to materiovigilance

Requirements

• Ability to drive a long-wheelbase van
• Willingness to work an on-call roster
