Healthcare Tax Manager

About This Role

This role involves leading all aspects of tax engagements within the healthcare services group, supervising and mentoring staff, and building and maintaining strong client relationships. The position is for an experienced tax professional who will coordinate on tax return reviews, work on consulting projects, and contribute to the firm's healthcare niche practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate as part of the healthcare services group tax team on the review and filing of annual tax returns, including Forms: 1040, 1065; 1120; 1120-S
• Work on various tax consulting special projects
• Attend professional tax webinars and presentations to the healthcare industry
• Work on day-to-day tax assistance to healthcare industry clients
• Support and coordinate with the healthcare group
• Contribute to the continued development of staff and the growth of the firm

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license, JD or a Masters of Science in Taxation
• At least 5 years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting firm, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to clients
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail
