Healthcare Research Analyst - US Healthcare

About This Role

Investigating complex information and finding the right answers when sources disagree is the core of this role, which focuses on U.S. healthcare plans, provider networks, and prescription coverage. The role suits a detail-oriented researcher who can create a clear evidence trail for every conclusion.

Responsibilities

• Research U.S. healthcare and insurance information using multiple authoritative sources
• Compare conflicting information and determine what requires further investigation
• Follow defined research procedures and checklists
• Research health plans, networks, physicians, facilities, and provider locations
• Verify plan-specific information rather than relying on general carrier information
• Complete telephone verification when required
• Research medication coverage and formulary information
• Identify tiers and applicable coverage restrictions
• Document unclear or unresolved findings
• Capture screenshots, documents, URLs, and verification notes
• Maintain accurate digital research records
• Write clear summaries that another researcher can independently verify

Requirements

• At least 2 years in research, healthcare administration, insurance operations, QA, case processing, customer support, or another detail-intensive role
• Strong online research skills
• Comfortable comparing and validating information from several sources
• Strong written English and documentation skills
• Comfortable making professional U.S. verification calls
• Able to investigate uncertainty rather than make unsupported assumptions
• Available for onsite U.S. Central Time night-shift work
