About This Role
This role is for a full-desk clinician recruiter dedicated to a single, large national medical practice specializing in behavioral health. You will manage the entire hiring process from sourcing to offer negotiation and credentialing, ensuring high-quality placements that result in excellent patient care. The position suits a recruiter who values integrity, excellence, and compassion, and is committed to finding the right long-term fit for both clinicians and clients.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview clinicians across advanced practice, physician, and licensed independent practitioner roles
- Run structured screens covering licensure by state, specialty focus, DEA and CSR status, supervision or collaboration requirements, and desired clinical hours
- Advise candidates honestly on fit, market realities, and licensure paths, including when a role isn't right for them
- Represent the client credibly: their care model, their patient population, the growth path, what the work actually looks like
- Negotiate compensation, prepare, and extend offers
- Move quickly without cutting corners, minimizing the time a role sits open
- Shepherd candidates through agreement signature, coordinating with the Credentialing, Licensing, and Onboarding teams
- Keep ATS data accurate, including pipeline progress, correspondence history, decline reasons, and start-date availability
- Become the internal expert on your client's talent market and help shape the playbooks used
Requirements
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting, or equivalent experience in clinical staffing or healthcare sales
- Warmth and genuine engagement
- Judgment about quality: ability to identify a strong clinician from a well-presented resume and a completed screening call or interview
- Clear candidate communication and follow-through without being chased
- Comfort with high volume and disciplined record-keeping
- Ability to sell the client's opportunity accurately, without overselling
- Adaptability, as priorities on a live client account shift week to week
Nice to have:
- Behavioral health, clinical, or telehealth recruiting experience
- Familiarity with multi-state licensure, interstate compacts, supervision and collaboration requirements, and DEA/CSR registration
- Experience in a full-featured ATS, and working alongside credentialing or licensing teams
Important Details

- Employment type: Full-time
