Healthcare Recruiter

About This Role

This role involves full life-cycle recruiting support for healthcare professionals, focusing on government contracting. The position suits an experienced healthcare recruiting professional with knowledge of recruiting, screening, credentialing, and onboarding various healthcare and medical administrative staff. The recruiter will join the San Antonio Office Team and report to the Clinical Recruiting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned healthcare job postings
• Maintain job requisitions in ERP’s Applicant Tracking System, including progress notes and updates
• Pipeline qualified candidates for ongoing requirements
• Screen applications against job performance work statement qualifications
• Conduct candidate first contact, follow-up, and close-out
• Perform initial collection and primary source verification of core credentialing documents
• Verify and validate candidate references
• Create profiles for candidate submission
• Coordinate interviews with Hiring Managers and customers
• Complete incumbent capture and processing
• Network with industry, references, and contacts to develop leads
• Solicit current staff and customers for referrals
• Conduct pre- and post-sales market salary analysis
• May attend career fairs, trade shows, etc.
• Communicate daily with Hiring Managers on the status of requisitions, candidates, etc.

Requirements

• 2+ years of healthcare recruiting experience, preferably within a Government contracting environment
• Knowledge of Federal RFP/RFQ process and Performance Work Statements
• A solid understanding of the staffing market: services, competitors, technologies, trends, and contracts
• Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Must be able to multitask and manage numerous requisitions simultaneously
• Must be able to meet short deadlines and quick turn-around times, within budget
• Must be able to work independently
