About This Role

This part-time role involves creating medical reports for health, long-term care, and pension insurance, focusing on assessing care needs and home care. It suits a healthcare professional with experience in medical assessments and strong PC skills, who is comfortable conducting examinations in patients' homes or via phone interviews.

Responsibilities

• Create reports to determine the need for long-term care
• Assess home environment improvements according to SGB XI
• Evaluate home health care and review the necessity of medical aids and remedies according to SGB V

Requirements

• Completed training as a certified health and nursing professional
• Legally required proof of vaccination status at the time of employment
• Experience in assessment according to SGB V and SGB XI
• Solid PC and spelling skills (MS Office applications)
• Class B driving license; own car

The Social Medical Service (SMD) is an independent service provider within the medical competence network of Deutsche Rentenversicherung Knappschaft-Bahn-See. The SMD provides medical reports based on physical examinations or file reviews for health, long-term care, and pension insurance. For health insurance, the SMD performs the tasks of the Medical Service.
